Weather Barrier Joint Sealing Tape
EasySealR® is used as a joint sealing tape with Foamular® NGX® in above-grade walls to create an air and weather barrier assembly. EasySealR® provides reliable adhesion to Foamular® NGX® XPS insulation during normal expansion and contraction of building materials. EasySealR® does not have a release liner, allowing for faster installs and less job site waste.
Air & Weather Barrier System
- When used with FlashSealR® and FOAMULAR® NGX®, EasySealR® helps form a complete air and weather barrier system that meets ASTM E2178 and E2357 performance standards.
- Eliminates the need for additional housewrap or secondary air barrier materials when installed per Owens Corning instructions.

- Can be used as an alternative to HomeSealR® or JointSealR® on foam board seams.

EasysealR® Features
- Store EasySealR® Foam Joint Tape under conditions of 60 –80°F(16–27°C) and 40–60% relative humidity in the original carton.
- To obtain the best performance, use this product within 24 months from the date of manufacture.
- EasySealR® Foam Joint Tape should be covered within 60 days of application to minimize potential degradation due to exposure to ultraviolet light (sunlight).
- To ensure the best adhesion, EasySealR® Foam Joint Tape should be applied over FOAMULAR® NGX® XPS insulation panel joints at the time the foam panels are installed. Tape should be rolled at application.
- If the tape is to be applied to foam with a contaminated or damaged surface, the surface first needs to be cleaned or the foam removed prior to applying tape.
- EasySealR® should not be used as a flashing tape. For flashing or penetration applications, use FlashSealR®.
