Seal It. Protect It. Keep Moving with FluidSealR™
When it comes to air and weather barrier systems, the smallest gaps can make a big difference. Joints, window and door openings, wall penetrations, and other interruptions in the building envelope all require careful sealing to create a continuous barrier.
Owens Corning® FluidSealR™ Liquid Flashing is designed to make those critical details easier to address.
FluidSealR™ is a single-component elastomeric sealant accessory for use as part of Owens Corning® FOAMULAR® NGX® or Natural Polymers Natural-Therm® Pro air and weather barrier systems. The material is easily gunned, spread, and tooled, then cures to form a durable, rubber-like membrane, including in high-humidity conditions.
Why FluidSealR™?
Resists Water
Once cured, FluidSealR™ forms a durable membrane that provides protection at important transitions and openings.
Helps Prevent Air Leakage
FluidSealR™ is designed as a component of the air barrier system, sealing areas where continuity is especially important.
Easy to Apply to Irregular Forms
Not every opening or penetration is perfectly shaped. Its workable consistency makes FluidSealR™ easy to gun, spread, and tool around irregular areas.
Fast Installation
Straightforward application makes it easier to address critical sealing details and keep the job moving.
Seals Where It Matters
FluidSealR™ is recommended for sealing joints; around the sills, jambs, and heads of windows and doors; and around wall protrusions and interruptions.
FluidSealR™ also meets AAMA 714 requirements and qualifies as an accessory in specified NFPA 285 and ASTM E119 fire assemblies.
The details matter. Seal them right.
